Seeking a full-time board certified/eligible Neonatologist to join our team of 7 Neonatologists and 11 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to provide neonatology services in the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the Betty H. Cameron Women and Children's Hospital at New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC), as well as some coverage at our 3 surrounding Level II NICUs in medical facilities throughout southeastern North Carolina. Our pediatric team also includes pediatric intensivists, pediatric hospitalists, pediatric/family nurse practitioners and pediatric subspecialists in gastroenterology, endocrinology, neurology and pulmonology. Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Excellent opportunity for a full time NNP to join a growing neonatology practice serving southeastern North Carolina. The candidate will join a team of seven neonatologists and twelve nurse practitioners providing coverage for a 45-bed Level III NICU located within New Hanover Regional Medical Center in coastal Wilmington, NC. The hospital is a regional referral center and many pediatric subspecialty services are offered. Rotation to Level II NICUs located in the region may also be required. The hired NNP will be responsible for clinical assessment and management, procedures, high-risk delivery attendance, emergency resuscitation and stabilization, and neonatal ground transport. Many opportunities to participate in research and continuing education are available. Rotating 12 and 24 hour shifts.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Naval Hospital at Camp LeJeune Click here to apply
Camp LeJeune NICU is a Level II unit. NNP’s will be required to attend high risk deliveries, consult on sick patients in the newborn nursery, manage level II patients in the NICU, as well as coverage for the normal newborn nursery as needed. Procedures include umbilical lines, peripheral arterial lines, percutaneous central venous lines, thoracentesis, chest tubes and intubations. Camp LeJuene Naval Hospital is located in Jacksonville, NC and is about 70 miles from NHRMC which is a level III.
Coverage at the Level III NICU at New Hanover Regional Medical Center would require a North Carolina License (if it is determined that coverage is needed).
